The Nutrition Society of Nigeria is a professional, non-governmental Association founded in 1963 at the University of Ibadan.
Membership of the society cut across various disciplines. These include Nutrition, Agriculture, Physiology, Medicine, Food Science and Technology, Social Science, Home Economics and Education. Memberships are in the following categories: Ordinary, Associates, Students, Fellow, Corporate and Honorary.
With more than 1500 members, the Nutrition Society of Nigeria is the nations largest organization of food and nutrition professionals.
